For 2025, we are recognizing two outstanding organizations. One of this year’s honorees is Venice Challenger Baseball League “For all who dream to play, but can’t in the usual Little League way.”
Venice Challenger Baseball is a baseball league designed for children who aren’t able to play baseball in the usual way. The program began with a handful of children and has grown to over 100 players of all ages.
VCB allows every player to bat and play in the field every inning. Siblings, friends, organizations such as local high school teams and clubs, police and fire departments, as well as local businesses serve as “Buddies”. Buddies help Challenger players bat, run the bases and play in the field. The whole family and community gets involved. Best of all, it’s FREE to join and all are welcome!
