Glenn Wilkes was the head basketball coach for Stetson University. He had a total of 674 wins. In 1958, he originated the Glenn Wilkes Basketball School which was the south’s first and most popular basketball school. He directed the school for 37 years.
Glen works with Nike Basketball Camps. He directs Shooting Stars Basketball Camps, Shooting Stars Point Guard Camp and Shooting Stars Big Man Camp. He is the assistant director of the Michael Jordan Flight School Basketball Camp for ages 8-18, and also for the Michael Jordan Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas.
Wilkes served as a scout for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1994-1998. He also holds coaching clinics, and is the author of five books. He is the recipient of the 2000 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Coach Wilkes died on November 21, 2020.
