Jim CourierJim CourierJames Spencer “Jim” Courier, Jr. (born August 17, 1970, in Sanford, FL) is a former world number one professional tennis player from the United States.

During his career, he won four Grand Slam singles titles. Courier won 23 tournaments in his career, which lasted from 1988 to 2000. He is the 1992 and 1993 French Open champion and the 1991 and 1992 Australian Open champion. Also, Courier has made finals appearances at Wimbledon and the US Open.

Courier was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2005.
